I've been saying for weeks that the excitement has been palpable! And it HAS been!
So much hard work and planning went into breathing life into the studio! So many skilled hands, and care... at all hours of the day! I recently realized that from the day that I received the keys to the kingdom... until the doors had opened... it had only been just one day short of six weeks. My dream realized and the space remodeled and completely filled and assembled... in just under six weeks! I created a perfect little studio (along side brilliant people) space to meet with and serve Interior design clients and to also mentor other designers. A space that includes interesting home decor, one of a kind items, rare and vintage pieces, odd finds and gift ideas of remarkable note... and absolutely support original art and artists.
This past Grand Opening week was incredible! Sharing it all with friends, family, and colleagues in this wonderful city on the lake that I call home makes it all even more beautiful! I am truly thrilled!
Just prior to opening, I had a feeling that was completely surreal... in that the dust had all settled, the construction noises had stopped, and the hustling and bustling preparations were done. It was calm, quiet and beautiful. It was time to enjoy the space and for others to enjoy the space as well.
I love that I will be able to share my design ideas and theories here in this blog, to give design tips, and to also uncover how and when people can utilize the skill and knowledge of Interior Designers! Hello Sheboygan, it's nice to see you!
