The Paint Face-lift !!!
One of the fastest ways to drastically change a room! And some times one of the most economical ways as well! WE LOVE PAINT! Things to consider: The way that we perceive color... directly correlates to the other colors surrounding it! Color is relative to what it is next to, ALWAYS! This is why when working with clients... designers will order large samples and view them in-home with the client, surrounded by permanent architectural elements and other items that will be present in the room. DO NOT pick out your paints in the paint store, surrounded by tons of colors that have NOTHING to do with your room/ lighting/ surroundings, etc. Did you know that the change of seasons can also effect paint color in rooms that have vast windows? The sheen or "finish" of a paint will also have an effect on how "light" or "dark" the paint may look compared to the original sample.
